Q: Am I nude during the Tantric session? A: If you are scheduled for an hour and a half or longer session, there is a bath ceremony that is part of your session. There will be a disrobing ceremony prior to receiving the bath. (If you prefer not to receive the bath, it can be omitted.) Clients choosing to participate in the bath ceremony are offered a robe to wear for the remainder of their session, or may choose to remain nude. If at any point you become uncomfortable during the session or with your nudity, please inform your practitioner. Q: What is the bath ceremony and does the practitioner bathe with me? A: The bath ceremony is a time for you to relax and unwind in one of our deep, claw-foot tubs. Unlike most baths, you will not be bathing yourself. This ceremony is a time to be nurtured. You will be gently caressed and lovingly bathed by one of our practitioners in warm, aromatherapy scented waters. The practitioner facilitates the bath, and does not bathe with you. Q: What do the practitioners wear during the session? A: Our female practitioners typically wear undergarments in addition to lightweight, and/ or sheer sarongs and tops. Our male practitioners wear shorts and/or a sarong. For a more visual description, please view our online picture gallery. Q: What is a full body "Tantric Touch Experience?" A: We are not licensed massage therapists, and do not perform massage therapy or bodywork. What we do provide, however, is a full body, hands on, Tantric Touch experience. Using various techniques and movement, your body will be immersed in pampering from head to toe. Your senses will be enticed and your energy will be flowing. It is during this portion of your session where you will begin to integrate breath work and other learned elements into your session. (Please inform your practitioner if you have any aversions to massage oil being used during your session.) Q: Will I be having sex with the practitioner during my session? A: Absolutely not . Our sessions are designed to teach you the basic Tantric principles including but not limited to: Tantric breath work, eye gazing, energy movement, body awareness, etc. Tantric Retreat is not an escort service. There is no mutual touching during sessions at Tantric Retreat. Our services are educational in nature and any donations/monies collected for our services are strictly for our time and companionship. If a client is disrespectful and/or makes a practitioner feel uncomfortable during a session, the session will immediately end, the client will be asked to leave and will then be escorted out of the Temple. There is NO mutual touching during our sessions- please do not ask. Q: Will I be allowed an orgasmic release? A: Quick orgasmic release is not the intention, nor the goal, of Tantra. During your session you will learn tools that will teach you how to harness this powerful energy so that you can then build from it longer waves of ecstasy that can be moved and re-circulated throughout the body. Q: How do I choose a practitioner(s)? A: With advance notice, you may have the option of choosing the practitioner that facilitates your session. If there is not enough notice and/or scheduling conflicts ensue, then a practitioner will be chosen for you. At this time, we do not offer sessions to men facilitated by men; however, women have their choice between a female or male practitioner to lead their session. Q: Are your facilities clean? A: Yes, our Temple is kept clean AND sanitized. Towels, sheets, pillow cases, etc. are all changed on a daily basis and after every session. All hot stones, massage oil dispensers, and items used during your session are completely sterilized before each use. In addition, our bathtubs are sanitized after each use and our restrooms are cleaned daily. Q: May I shower following my session? A: Some clients don't like the feeling of lingering massage oil, and prefer to rinse off prior to their departure. If you wish to shower off before leaving, please inform your practitioner about your needs at the beginning of your session so that she/he may allot the necessary time. Due to scheduling concerns, it is paramount that you inform your practitioner at the beginning of your session. Q: Why can't I find your session donations listed your website anywhere? A: We do not post our session donations on our site because we have so many different offerings for men, women & couples. We also travel to Raleigh and Charlotte regularly and our donations are priced differently when we travel. In addition, we typically discount sessions monthly and it would be a hassle to be constantly updating our website. Please phone Juliette or Alexa for the latest specials and offerings. (828) 989-0505 Q: How do you accept your donations? A: We accept cash & all major credit cards. If you would like to make your donation using a credit card, you will need to have a PayPal account ( www.paypal.com ). There will be an additional $15 added to your total donation to cover the transaction fee, and your transaction must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your session. Please inform Juliette or Alexa when booking if you intend to use a credit card. They will give you the appropriate information to complete your transaction. We do not accept checks, money orders and/or barter our services. Q: What are your hours of operation? A: Our business hours are Monday - Sunday 9am-6pm, daily. Juliette works Monday-Friday and Alexa works on Saturdays and Sundays. Aside from major holidays, we are open for business seven days a week and begin taking sessions at 9am. The last session of the evening begins no later than 7pm. Q: How far in advance do I need to schedule a session? A: It is recommended that Couples book at least 48 hours in advance or longer. Singles sessions can generally be booked on the same day, however, we require at least a two hour turn around prior to your session time. If you have any questions about this, please call Juliette or Alexa. (828) 989-0505 Q: Where is your Temple located and is it discreet? A: Our Temple is conveniently located in North Asheville. Our temple location is very private and discreet. Because we always schedule our sessions with a 15-30 minute start and end buffer, you should never run the risk of meeting another client(s) in passing. Codes of Practise of Tantric Massage.1.
