My name is Denise Greenfield. I have facilitated, taught and trained hundreds of men, women, and couple's in Tantra over the past ten years. As an Awakened Spiritual Sexual Shaman, Essence Tantra emerged and lives thru my transmission of these teachings.Tantra is an ancient Indian teaching, which offers a path to discover, develop, refine and reconnect to our Essence--our true Self. With this knowledge and practice, we create the capacity for greater love: love for oneself, love for others, love for what is.

Essence Tantra is a path of love and presence, deeply rooted in the body, our anchor for experience of the here and now. It is a path that deepens intimacy and sensuality and opens the heart.

A Tantra text says: "He who realizes the truth of the body can then come to know the truth of the universe." For this reason, I am an Embodiment coach, using many body-based modalities. I believe that we are each born with an inherent sense of ourselves, an intuitive knowing that, if we listen, guides us to being with ourselves, in our bodies, in ways that are honest, authentic and true.

The disconnect between our bodies and our minds happens when we listen to outside messages for affirmation and validation of who are. We're essentially allowing someone or something else define us by answering the question "Who am I (in this body)?" rather than looking within and answering that difficult question for ourselves. We need to purposefully look within. We need to ask ourselves difficult questions, like "who am I in this body?" and "how would I be in this body without external influence?" and "how do I (or don't I) live within my body in sacred ways?" and "what are my ideas, feelings, and beliefs about how I experience pleasure in this body?" The list goes on if you let it.

Part of the joy in asking these kinds of purposeful questions is that we sometimes arrive at, if we are true in the asking, answers that bring us back to our authentic selves, the place from which we began. Then we begin to breathe, moment to moment, living within the meditation that is our body.

My path ranges from unorthodox sacred sexuality, Taoism, classical and contemporary Tantra, psychology, bodywork, and rich spiritual practices designed to awaken higher states of consciousness. My life has been deeply blessed by these teachings and I bring you the highest quality training for your unfoldment. My purpose is to empower you on the path of Tantra.

Sexuality is the sacred way masculine and feminine come into union. Sacred sex harmonizes the dual energies within each of us - God and Goddess, Yin and Yang, darkness and light - using passion and intimacy to combine and direct these forces both within and between us. With this process we break through the limitations of the personal self and experience a sense of oneness with creation.

Infusing our sexual relationships with spirituality, we take our pleasure to new dimensions, transforming our sexual drive into spiritual energy, transcending the physical body, and entering a state of heightened consciousness. For me, sexuality is intimacy (in-to-me-see). It is a barometer of where I am with myself and my lover. How real, open and alive I can be.

Tantric masters consider the ultimate goal of life to be the dissolution of the ego and complete union with the divine energy that is within us all and throughout all of nature. I like the way Suzie Heumann (renowned Tantric expert) says it: "Being well practiced at the art of sexual ecstasy and having entered the divine realms of ego dissolution over and over allows for the veils and boundaries of separation to fall at our feet. We open again and again, each time allowing more in - friends, lovers, family, orgasms, nature, abundance, light, dark, and spirit. Nothing seems separate anymore, including our selves. At times we can even experience our own divinity - our own true nature. That is when transformation and transcendence occurs."

Denise and John work as a couple with couples to help them rediscover and improve their passion, intimacy and desire by introducing Tantric practices to their relationship. Everything we teach is what we actually do in our own relationship to keep it fun, hot, emotionally rich and spiritually evolving.We delight in sharing with each other and through our workshops what we have learned over many years of tantric practice, relationship exploration, and the tantric way of life as a couple. Joined together, our love and variety of talents, creates a powerful, fun, dynamic and loving teaching team.We also offer private sessions and retreats in exotic locales.
